Guitar Lessons
I believe that taking time to assess each child’s learning style is critical to the process of creating individual lessons, and that being open to “windows of opportunity” make learning fun and stimulating.
What Do You Need to Start?
A nylon string classic guitar, guitar footrest and book. I am happy to help you in choosing the correct size guitar to purchase or lease. No experience needed — No age limit (adults are welcome and encouraged!) — just the love of music, the desire to make music and have fun sharing it is all you need.
What Style Will You Learn?
Regardless of the style you want to play, the technique of playing is the same for all styles, and the easiest way to develop a solid technique is by studying classical guitar.
What Opportunities Will You Have?
All students have multiple opportunities to perform either solo, duet or ensemble. Other performance options like play-ins and CD recordings are available. Performance is an option, not mandatory.
